If you have the room to store your future donations in your home, please do so. Later this fall, your donations will still be needed as we welcome more refugees from around the world.

As we are rebuilding to welcome more refugees across Chicagoland, donating furniture and household goods is a tangible and important way to extend welcome and build community! Your donations are so important and appreciated!

Welcome Kits are a bundle of all the essential items needed for newly arriving refugees as they start their new life here in Chicagoland. Here is a list of what a Welcome Kit includes!

Drop-Off Instructions for Kits and Other Donations

SUBURBS:

Note: Our Suburb storage is at capacity due to a large donation. We still need welcome kits and other donations, but not until November! Please consider a walmart or amazon gift card instead (this allows us to purchase household items and furniture on demand), or bringing your welcome kit in November.

WHEN DROP-OFFS RESUME: Please drop off any donations in waterproof packaging and leave them inside the rear door with the World Relief sign at the back of the World Relief office building located at

CHICAGO: Chicago office drop-offs in Albany Park MUST BE ARRANGED. Please set up a time to drop off your donation, and you will receive instructions. Next available drop-off times begin 9/20/21.
